Day 31
Terror of Demons, Pray for Us
“Jesus, Mary and Joseph pursued their way through many towns of Egypt, driving out the demons not only from the idols but out of many bodies possessed by them, curing many that were grievously
and dangerously ill.”
- Venerable Mary of Ágreda
Demons fear Jesus. Demons fear Mary. Did you know that demons fear St Joseph as well? It's true. Demons are absolutely terrified of St Joseph. Evil spirits are terrified of St Joseph because he alone is the spouse of the Immaculata and the father of Jesus Christ. Saint Joseph is the gateway to Jesus and Mary. Everything that touches him becomes a relic. He saved the Saviour from Herod, spent decades in adoration, exercised paternal authority over Jesus, and cared for Jesus and Mary.
The title "Terror of Demons” is the most unique tide of St Joseph. It is fearsome and a commanding title. It is the title of a warrior. The lily that St Joseph holds in his hand is a mighty spiritual weapon, a sword of purity. ho has the power to pierce fire-breathing dragons (demons and conquer every form of filth and darkness. Satan is not a myth; neither are evil spirits and demons. The world considers these creatures to be fairytales and legends, but they are real.
The purity of St Joseph is a weapon against the filth and perversions of the devil. Satan is a filthy, perverse, and pornographic creature. Purity repulses him. It pierces him. The number one sin among men today is impurity. It is a spiritual plague destroying the minds and hearts of men on a global scale. The spiritual plague of impurity involves pornography immoral actions with oneself, homosexual acts and lifestyles, pedophlie, cohabitation, contraception, and abortion. These sins leave men powerless and spiritually impotent. Men who are impure have no power. Impure men pose no threat to the devil because they are spiritually impotent. This explains why so many men today have no strength to fight evil. Satan has nothing to fear from a man who has freely chosen to let demons into his life through lust, pornography, immoral desires, and every other form of perversion. If men want to see God and have power over darkness, they must strive to have a chaste and loving heart like St Joseph.
Prayer
We take confidence in the knowledge that the care which you had for Jesus, you have it for us too, and will always help us with your patronage. We gladly proclaim your name, O, St Joseph, which is the joy of heaven, the honour of earth, and the comfort of mortals. Your name invigorates the weak, comforts the afflicted, heals the sick, softens hardened hearts, helps us in temptation, frees us from the snares of the devil, obtains every gift, and shares in the power of the holy names of Jesus and Mary. Protect us in our fight against the spiritual forces of darkness and cover us with your
mantle of purity. Amen.
